“This Circuit was known for its competitiveness. For me, it was the result of a whole year of hard work, with great and bad waves, in which I worked really hard to obtain great results and achieve this personal goal.

Right now, I am more focused on the Latin American Circuit. I am thinking to compete some dates of the National Circuit, as long as it does not clash with the ALAS events.

I want to thank the Federation for raising the standards of Costa Rican surf.”

“Well, I’ve competed a lot in the Longboard Category, for fun. I wanted to encourage others to get involved in this category.

The competition level in the Circuit is even higher. You could see that in the final, where nobody knew who was going to win until the last 20 minutes. The result is thanks to the great effort the Federation has done.

I am planning to compete in the ALAS this year and in the National Circuit, whenever it is possible.”
